Introduction to Shamanic Journeying, June 2012

Description:
This is a one day course to teach how to do the Shamanic Journey.  This is a pre-requisite for my other workshops (unless you have studied with another teacher.)

The journey is a powerful technique for personal growth and healing.  In this workshop you will learn how to journey, and you will meet your power animal and a spirit guide.  The technique and these teachers will support you after the workshop as you move forward on your spiritual path.  The journey is a tool which supports all life goals.  It is a way of directly accessing spiritual information.

Registration:
This class is open to everyone, but registration must be done through Joliet Junior College’s continuing education registration. Students can sign up for class when Summer registration begins 815-280-1555 to register.  The class number is LLC 3847 T1.  You should bring a bag lunch.

What to bring:
A bag lunch
A drum and/or rattle. (You can create a rattle by putting small stones/popping corn or similar in a water bottle.)
Something to cover your eyes while journeying.
A blanket and/or pillow so that you can be comfortable lying on the floor to journey.
A journal/notebook and pen to write down things you experience.

Directions to K building:
You will enter the J building but proceed to a classroom in the K building.

Enter the college off of Houbolt Road. You will be turning onto Cathy Drive which is the college entrance.
Go straight until the road ends with a T. Turn right when the road T’s. Follow the signs to parking for J building.
After entering the J building, take the elevator to the 2nd floor.  When you get off the elevator turn left and follow the signs for K building.  The room is in the fine arts department.
