For Children (and Parents of Children) with ADHD
Several of our meetings for children last year were a great success!
We need your input if we are to provide this service again!
Info On last Year's Activities:
CHADD Activities for kids and their family members.
South Suburban Chicago CHADD has starting up activities for children! This will be one of the only children activities nights offered by a CHADD chapter in the Chicago land area!
The special series we offer this Spring is a series of meetings for kids and their family members. It is designed to provide insight into AD/HD, the impact it can have on all family members, and to offer coping strategies and hope for a bright future. Educational and fun activities will be provided.
The meetings and activities will be facilitated by SASS Team Members from two area behavioral healthcare agencies, Metropolitan Family Services and Grand Prairie Services.
Children and/or adolescents who have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorders, their siblings, and their parents and guardians are invited (and encouraged!) to attend.
Please join us for one, two, or all three of CHADD Activity nights! See Schedule
We will be judging the popularity of these meetings by attendance in order to determine if future activities of these kind will be offered. If you are interested please show us by attending these meetings.
RSVP (708) 802-4233
RSVP suggested for each meeting, please indicate your name, number of adults attending, number of children attending, and ages of children.
Note: CHADD requires parents to sign a waiver form before their child can participate, and requires parents to remain on premises and be responsible for their children at all times. Waiver forms ar to be signed when checking in on meeting nights. Thank you for you understanding and cooperation.
