Description:

The shamanic journey is a powerful technique for personal growth and healing.  In this workshop you will learn how to journey, and you will meet your power animal and a spirit guide.  The technique and these teachers will support you after the workshop as you move forward on your spiritual path.  The journey is a tool which supports all life goals.  It is a way of directly accessing spiritual information.

Registration:

This class is open to everyone, but sign up is done through Joliet Junior College’s class registration.  The class is provided by the Continuing Education Department. Students can sign up for class when Fall registration begins. Call 815-280-1555 to register.  The class number is LLC 3847 T1.  You should bring a bag lunch.

What to bring:

A bag lunch
A drum and/or rattle. (You can create a rattle by putting small stones/popping corn or similar in a water bottle.)
Something to cover your eyes while journeying.
A blanket and/or pillow so that you can be comfortable lying on the floor to journey.
A journal/notebook and pen to write down things you experience during your shamanic journey.

Location:

The Wietendorf campus is not near the main Joliet Junior College campus. It is located on Laraway Road south of Joliet,  across from the Chicagoland Speedway, about a mile and a half in from Route 53 on the west and Route 52 on the east. See the address below.
