Advanced Intro to Shamanic Journeying – April 2018

Description:
The second part of Introduction to Shamanic journeying, this class will teach you new journeys, help you brush up on shamanic journeying skills (even if you’re not sure you remember how!), and give you an opportunity to have more practice journeying in a group setting. This class will change dynamically based on the experience of class participants, and can be taken multiple times.
Prerequisite:
Introduction to Shamanic Journeying or equivalent.
We can accept anyone who has taken a journey class from the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, or a teacher listed on ShamanicTeachers.com.
Registration:
This class is open to everyone, but registration must be done through Joliet Junior College’s continuing education registration. Students can sign up for class when Summer registration begins 815-280-1555 to register. The class number is LLC 5419 T1. You should bring a bag lunch.
What to bring:
A bag lunch
A drum and/or rattle. (You can create a rattle by putting small stones/popping corn or similar in a water bottle.)
Something to cover your eyes while journeying.
A blanket and/or pillow so that you can be comfortable lying on the floor to journey.
A journal/notebook and pen to write down things you experience.
ROOM A1061 or ROOM U2019
A1061 is the conference room in the new campus center. Look for the flags and bell tower. That will be the entrance to use and the room will be on your right.
U2019 As you enter the campus the U building is the Right most building. This room is on the second floor, and the windows face the parking lot.
